Graduated in Applied Arts from the Llotja Advanced School of Arts and Design in 1996. I developed talents for the creative thinking and artistic expression that led me to 20 years as a creative director which I combined with a personal career as a photographer and filmmaker, exhibiting my pictures and films in various European cities. This drove me to an extensive career as a film editor and director of photography for the award-winning international filmmaker Isabel Coixet.
Thanks to an early musical training and my extensive artistic and technical knowledge, I developed an enormous sensitivity and a solid critical sense that allows me to undertake any film project with intuition, flexibility and the highest narrative quality.
I am a member of the European Film Academy, the Catalan Cinematographic Arts and Sciences Academy and the Film Editors of Catalonia Association (AMMAC). I have won two Biznaga Awards in the Málaga Film Awards and I have recently been nominated for Spain at the Platino Ibero- American Film Awards as Best Editing Director for "Un Amor" (2024).
As a Director of Photography my palette shapes organic and evocative universes usually inspired by real paintings where I find the energy desired for each scene.
I directed the photography as main or second unit cinematographer for films featuring artists like Javier Cámara, Candela Peña, Juliette Binoche, Rinko Kikuchi, Gabriel Byrne, Emily Mortimer, Patricia Clarkson, Bill Nighy, Laia Costa, Hovik Keuchkerian, Hugo Silva or Luis Bermejo among others.
I own a selection of my prefered lights to shape the best light possible for every scene.
As a Film Editor, I immerse myself in history feeling the heartbeat of each character and shaping their complexity through stratified emotional landscapes.
I have edited films featuring international artists like Alba Rohrwacher, Elio Germano, Francesco Carril, Sarita Choudhury, Timothy Spall, Carmen Machi, Pedro Casablanc, Candela Peña, Javier Cámara, Guillermo Pfening, Yolanda Ramos, Agnès Jaoui, Bérénice Bejo, Daniel Brühl, Antonio de la Torre, Rebecca Grant, Joaquín Furriel, Laia Costa, Hovik Keuchkerian, Hugo Silva or Luis Bermejo among others.
I have wide experience in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro X. I can move to the production preferred location or work remotely from my own editing room at one hour from Barcelona (Spain).
